T5 Canbus Wiring Kit

Wiring kit INSTALLATION

Just part of your vehicles towbar fitting is the wiring harness installation. Here's an example of what is involved when having a Vehicle Specific wiring Kit (VSK) fitted to a VW T5 Transporter Van.

Firstly the interior carpet, seats and lower dash trim are removed to give access to the wiring loom and Body Control Module (BCM)

The Canbus, brake and fog cuttoff wires are run allongside the factory loom.

The Body Control Module (BCM) plugs are removed and dismantled

Additional CANBUS connections from the wiring kit are brought into the socket connector

CANBUS wiring is installed into the connector

BCM plugs are refitted into the sockets with the additional CANBUS wiring

Fog cutoff wiring are run upto the light switch

and plugged into the back of the socket connector
